Produced from 1959-1969, the Chevy Corvair made a splash on the automotive scene as the only passenger car to come equipped with an air-cooled engine mounted on the rear of the vehicle. It quickly gained attention because of this unique feature and it wasn’t long before Don Yenko, a former racecar driver known for his high-end Camaro modifications, took notice of the car and decided to put his special touch on the Corvair. The end result was the production of 100 upgraded models each known as the 1966 Chevy Corvair Yenko Stinger, and car enthusiast Jay Leno just happens to have his very own.
